About Us

Wymbs HR Recruitment was founded by Alison Wymbs in 2010 to provide an expert, dedicated HR recruitment service to the Oxfordshire marketplace.

Alison has considerable experience on both sides of the fence. After graduating, she began her career working at an Oxfordshire-based blue chip telecommunications company in a HR generalist role. Due to the rapidly-expanding nature of the company, Alison was quickly promoted into a recruitment specialist role where she was tasked with meeting the ambitious growth plans of the FTSE 100 company. Whilst in this role, Alison also studied for her CIPD.

At this stage Alison realised that recruitment was where her real interest lay; further, a HR recruitment consultancy role would enable her to combine her HR experience with her passion and talent for aligning the needs of both employer and employee. This led to Alison taking up a role at one of the world's largest recruitment consultancies where she successfully established, developed and managed HR recruitment in the Oxfordshire region. In doing so, Alison gained significant experience in identifying and meeting the needs of Oxfordshire's HR professionals.

In setting up Wymbs HR Recruitment, Alison's mission is to provide Oxfordshire's HR professionals with their own dedicated recruitment consultancy.
